Canon PowerShot A2400 IS and the A2300 - First Look
2012-08-20
hey there i'm josh goldman senior editor
with scenic and this is a look at the
canon powershot a 2400 is and the a 2300
both are 16 megapixel entry-level
point-and-shoots with the same 28
millimeter lens with a 5x zoom and 2.7
inch LCDs on back they have the same
flat buttons that can be tricky to press
and the same shooting modes including
canons effects options and both record
720p HD movies at the push of a button
they both produce nice photos and have
the same pokey shooting performance what
is different is that little is in the
model name the power shot a 2400 is has
optical image stabilization the a 2300
does not with just ten bucks separating
the two I strongly recommend spending
the extra money to get the a 2400 if
you're looking for a simple pocket
camera for casual snapshots
I'm Josh Goldman and that's the canon
powershot a 2400 is and the a well let's
just forget about that
