hey there I'm Josh Goldman and this is a
quick look at the Canon Powershot SX to
80 HS a generally excellent little mega
zoom made better by a new processor it
is basically the same camera as its
predecessor the sx260 HS which also has
a 20x zoom lens and 12 megapixel BSI
sensor the new digit 6 processor has
enabled some new features though such as
1080p mp4 video at up to 60 frames per
second and faster performance for
regular and burst shooting Canon also
says the new processor helps reduce
noise at higher ISO settings and for my
test shots that's generally true though
it's not that much better still the
sx260 was better than most in low-light
and that's the case here
that's good because you'll need those
higher ISO settings when using the zoom
lens other highlights of the camera
include built-in GPS and Wi-Fi which can
be used for quickly sending photos from
the camera to mobile devices for sharing
on the go among other things it has
plenty of shooting options to choose
from but sadly still no easy panoramas
or HDR modes also battery life isn't
great though a firmware update available
on canons website does improve it some
when shooting movies so yeah there are a
few minor issues but again it's
generally an excellent little camera
I'm Josh Goldman and that's the Canon
Powershot SX 280 HMS
