marks the cars real arrival
simultaneously with a new world record
run at the Nurburgring and this
immediately reminds you this is not your
usual hybrid 4.6 liter v8 coupled with
an electric motor and a 7-speed
dual-clutch auto manual for the rear-end
another electric motor for the front
totals up to 887 horse and 940
foot-pounds inside it's all rounded high
tech video display panels in the gauge
pods and a tablet light control surface
down the console spine but perhaps my
favorite detail is the pair of exhaust
ports behind each seat how those make it
pass the attorneys the 918 spyder is of
course a limited production model at
eight hundred and fifty grand but
clearly a look at what more attainable
Porsches will be made of in the years
ahead
