now it's interesting that saiyanz been on the market for what twelve years and then Lee just now getting around to building their first sedan that's usually automakers first move but Scion does things differently let's take a look at the 2016 Scion ia on the floor at the New York Auto Show now one of the most interesting things about the Scion AE is that it actually has more in common with a Mazda than it does with the rest of Toyotas lineup that's because this small sedan is actually gonna be built on a similar platform sharing a lot of sheet metal and probably the same 1.5 liter engine as the new Mazda 2 outputs gonna be about a hundred and some-odd horsepower the final numbers haven't been published yet but what we do know is that Toyota and fan expect this thing to get about 42 miles per gallon on the highway and it's supposed to be just as fun as scions FRS for sedan and if we take a look inside the cabin will see that the dashboard tech is pure Mazda all the way down to the rotary controller down in the center of the console pricing has it in this best to fight either but when this thing hits the market in fall of 2015 we're expecting about $16,000 at an entry-level point and of course Diane's gonna offer all sorts of bells whistles and goodies to add on to that I'm Antoine Goodwin on the floor of the 2015 New York Auto Show and we've been taking a look at the 2016 Scion ia
