what's up guys is Antoine good with cnet
com on the floor the 2014 new york auto
show and we're taking a look at the 2015
nissan murano it's pretty good looking
for a big SUV isn't it underneath the
new sculpted body in the vMotion front
end it's actually got pretty much the
same powertrain that had for a couple of
years now the 3.5 liter v6 engine that
does 260 horsepower and 240 pound feet
of torque that's going to be mated with
Nissan's intelligent continuously
variable transmission and that in turn
is going to meet either a front wheel or
all-wheel drive system not a lot of
changes in the engine bay but the body
around that engine has changed quite a
bit it's about 120 pounds lighter and
significantly more aerodynamic that adds
up to a much more efficient package
that's going to get about a twenty
percent increase in fuel economy over
the last year's model not only is it
lighter on the outside it's a lot
lighter visually on the inside they've
made a lot of steps in making the
interior of the new murano feel more
airy and that's going to involve things
like lowering the dashboard height
lowering the height of the center
console and also using lighter more high
quality materials it's also got nice on
zero gravity seats that are supposed to
reduce driver fatigue and I'm not really
sure how it does it the 2015 Murano is
also going to feature a lot of really
cool safety check including Nissan
surround view camera things like Ford
collision mitigation and blind spot
monitoring the 2015 nissan murano goes
on sale later this year and as yet
determined price I'm antuan goodwin on
the floor at the 2014 new york auto show
taking a look at the 2015 nissan murano
