I'm wind Cunningham here at the Geneva Auto Show and behind me is a race car actually this is a race car you can buy this is the Mercedes AMG gt3 it's based on the Mercedes AMG GT car they released last year but modified for FIA gt3 race rules that means it has a stock suspension and engine block but Mercedes has modified the car with carbon fiber parts to reduce the weight and this big wing on the back for downforce on the rear wheels and of course we have a carbon-fiber rear diffuser for better aerodynamics under the hood we have Mercedes AMG 6.3 liter v8 engine that's naturally aspirated but they don't give the power figure for it because chief engineers of customer teams can modify it for better power than its base rating and of course we don't need a muffler or a stock exhaust system because we don't care about noise with this car so we have pipes coming out of the side to get that exhaust out of engine as fast as possible Mercedes says they'll begin delivering these cars to customers in July of this year so if you want to race this may be the car for you
