Car Tech - The Lexus LF-SA concept ventures into the ultra-compact territory

this is the Lexus future small
adventurer a compact concept car that
takes an angular design language of
Lexus crossovers and suv's like the new
NX it shrinks them down to something a
little bit more City size now if you're
like me you saw pictures of this and
thought it's gonna be a little bit
bigger than it is it's got big wheels
all headlights and it's very vocally
styled but just over three metres long
we're talking about a car that's about
the size of a Toyota iQ it is very
compact
now most City cars are pretty much one
passenger vehicles the drivers usually
in it by themself so what Lexus is doing
is very interesting here they'll
building the cabin around the driver
instead of plopping the driver into the
middle of a cabin now what that means is
the driver seat is in a fixed position
and instead of sliding the seat back and
forth the pedals and steering wheel
slide back and forth to accommodate
different drivers at different heights
that's actually pretty interesting
maybe not the most efficient way to
build a car though but it's a concept
that you can do some cool things like
that I'm Antoine Goodwin we've been on
the floor the 2015 Geneva Auto Show
taking a look at the LF s a concept
