these glasses look like my glasses but
there are not regular glasses there are
prototypes of potential smart glasses
carl zeiss optics which is a start-up
fully funded by carl zeiss is working on
manufacturing processes to create
standard glasses that have a secret
smart glass tech inside these don't have
smart glass technology or projectors in
them yet
the idea here is to carve the
polycarbonate lens like I would have in
my glasses but actually magnify and
project what would be housed in here out
to here so you can feel a screen
hovering in front of you pretty neat
stuff these don't look like smart
glasses and that's the whole point if
you want to get beyond these weird bulky
things you got to make them look cool
now right now smart glasses aren't
really a thing you can buy in stores
very much but Carl Zeiss optics is one
of those companies that looks like it's
building it and hoping it will come and
it probably will come pretty soon I'm
Scott Stein here at CES 2016 with a look
at maybe my future glasses
