hey guys Jason Cipriani here a scene at
how to contributor today I'm going to
show you how to change the name of your
iOS device in iTunes now this may not be
real important now unless you have some
goofy name and you want to change the
name of your device but going forward
once iOS 5 is released later this fall
by Apple this is going to be important
so you can easily and quickly identify
your device when you're using iTunes
Wi-Fi sync now to change the name of
your device in itunes what we'll do is
we'll plug in our iOS device in this
case it is an iPad if iTunes does not
launch automatically go ahead and launch
it yourself
in the left hand side you should see a
device's column there you'll see the
name of the current name of your device
listed to change your name all you have
to do is double-click the name and then
type the name you would like and hit
Enter or return
this instantly changes the name of your
iOS device so now you know how to change
the name of your iOS device this may not
be real handy right now with iOS 5 the
importance of it will definitely elevate
otherwise have fun with the name name it
something inappropriate appropriate
that's up to you once again Jason
