this is the new chromecast ultra so like previous chromecast it has the same kind of hockey puck design HDMI connectivity but the new thing about the Ultra is 4k support and HDR support so that's high dynamic range video Google has also upgrade as a CPU within the chromecast so things load 1.8 times faster than previous editions there's also an integrated Ethernet jack in the power cord so all you need to do in order to get Ethernet connectivity is just plug it into power and that Ethernet connectivity goes straight into the chromecast itself the chromecast will also be compatible with Google home so you can control video playback through voice commands with Google Chrome and it's also backwards compatible with older chromecast to the Ultra will be available for $69 later in November
