hey guys Brian song here from cnet com at comic-con 2011 where everyday is Halloween and look at this lovely outfit we have here now tell everyone at home what is this outfit who is just inspired from I'm dressed as Daenerys Targaryen which is a book character written by george RR martin the traditional gown the right breast is exposed I wanted to be accurate but I was like for modesty's sake and legal reasons I have to be covered yeah you can be accurate here right now you have the opportunity to display the COS from the West man I can't actually because the dragon is attached so wait no hands look ma no hands costumes are very serious but so is this section this is the costumes weapons check in they want to make sure that these guys aren't bringing real guns does look they look pretty real got out of the weapons check in tell us about the process you know other people have pretty legitimate looking weapons myna you know dirt modified nerf weapons in a Nintendo light gun so I mean it's really you know it's plastic so I don't get harassed as much and say this guy over here it's like metal weapon so I'm not dressed up yet I'm trying to maybe find a costume here at comic-con well what do you think if you looked at everything what do you think might fit my physique um well I think you would look very good as a elven warrior are you hitting on me Jerry not not currently not out there and you can also look very good as a superhero we can make you a very effective farscape John Crichton you'd have to do something about the hair but didn't that high in the sky we're here with gandalf you might recognize him from Lord of the Rings Gandalf talk about putting your costume together because you're not on stilts you're really a big dude yeah I'm kind of like a living action figure you know it's really easy for me to put on these kinds of costumes because I'm larger than life a lot of people are kind of like kind of like hobbits eyes to you in reality ya did it please the you know Allegiant oh ha business for everybody all right let's see what we got here well we're gonna make you up it's a steampunk gentleman a steampunk gentleman okay tell me there we go anilos little finishing touch here top hat please this is obviously a really detailed costume tell us some of the work that goes into this a lot of vacuum tubing automotive tubing conduit electrical conduit tubing some basic d-pads and door hinge plugs and lots of purchases from pepboys this is nice now this of course would need to be tailored for you what I'm filling this out good look at this if you're finding out on a growth spurt so what are some of the most popular costume share this year's comic-con okay here at this year's comic-con definitely most popular costumes of things like the Green Lantern are extremely popular for us we also have things like Batman and star wars that are perennials and then this year we also having quite a bit of activity behind our Charlie Sheen gosh students good quarter pop culture today now if there is any character here that you think I might resemble the most on in your shoes in your booth what do you think it might be me be kind because in that case you would definitely be Batman and if you weren't kind what would you say all right let's go over to walking dead section captain america buckle me up this is a brand-new piece we just did this an experiment nice hey what do you think about this what do you think about this okay keep going so there you having all the sights and sounds of comic-con with the costumes I'm flanked by two very buff dudes from 300 a well covered up princess leia you guys you look great pristina calm i'm brian Tong at comic-con 2011 we'll see you guys next year whoo
