real world the ball contains a ton of
technology including LED lights a
speaker gyroscope accelerometer
vibration motor rechargeable battery
memory chip and a processor all house
and protected within a rubbery silicon
shell that acts as a shock absorber for
all the techie guts the free iPad
application allows kids to easily
program the ball for a variety of
personalized games that the kids come up
with on their own there's a game on make
food hit job the game starts to boog on
jello when I talks then I programmed it
comes the hitch that's how you make hit
me up it can record their own sounds
that the ball will playback use the ball
as an alarm clock or program it to be a
disco ball the hacker ball is currently
raising funds on Kickstarter and can be
yours for a pledge of 65 to 69 dollars
the ferrofluid lamp is trying to bring
sexy back to the world of lava lamps
ferrofluid is a thick oily fluid
containing nano scale magnetic particles
when you use a magnet to interact with
the fluid suspended inside a lava lamp
you get this awesome alien looking
effect that reminds me of venom from
spider-man creator kyle haines is the
brain behind the ferrofluid and is
currently raising funds on kickstarter
for his fair of fluid lamps he is named
inspiration
