having a camera drone that automatically
follows you is great but less so if you
have to worry about it getting stuck in
a tree or running into a wall
DJ eyes new phantom 4 it literally gets
around this problem with sets of optical
sensors in front and on the bottom
helping you to avoid obstacles while it
flies or stopping and hovering until you
can redirect it adding to that a new
active track mode gives the drone the
ability to follow and keep its 4k
resolution camera centered on your
subject just by tapping on them in DJ
eyes go app another new mode tap fly
lets you double tap a destination on
your screen and the quadcopter will just
fly there finding the best path while
avoiding collisions a pause button has
been added to the remote - so you can
stop and hover at any time the phantom
force design has been streamlined from
the three also the gimbal is more
compact as is the battery which can get
up to 28 minutes of flight now and new
push and lock propellers are more secure
and faster to take on and off the
redesign also helps it reach speeds of
up to 45 miles per hour in its sport
mode something we couldn't quite try out
in our conference room but fortunately
we'll be able to get our hands on one
soon to fly outside it'll be available
mid-march for $13.99
