DJ I might be best known for its
quadcopters for aerial photography but
it's now trying to get attention for the
camera and gimbal systems it's been
developing for those drones to help with
that mission is DJ eyes Osmo it uses a
similar camera and gimbal system to what
is found on the companies inspire one
drone and can be used with that camera
and the company's new micro four-thirds
zenmuse x5 camera the single piece
system attaches to the hand grip and
turns it into a 4k resolution video
camera with three axis stabilization
attached an iOS or Android device and
use DJI Go app to see what you're
shooting and control the camera and
change settings along with video at
resolutions up to 4k and slow motion
video
the camera takes 12 megapixel stills
time-lapse and interval shooting and it
does high-resolution handheld panoramas
all by itself there are direct controls
on the handle for recording video and
stills and for panning and tilting the
camera and since the camera itself
doesn't have a mic there's one built in
or you can use your own which is good
since the onboard one does pick up some
of the motor noise from the gimbal in
quiet scenes and in the handle you'll
find the battery which is good for about
60 minutes of recording pricing is set
at six hundred and fifty dollars with
availability coming in October you can
check out more details in sample video
on cnet.com but if you really liked the
smooth video results from DG eyes drones
the Osmo is the answer I'm Josh gomu
who's seen it thanks for watching
