at nine hundred bucks the definitive technology W Studio microbe is more than most people pay for sambar but is it worth the money it certainly looks the part with an aluminum top a large wooden sound whopper and a swanky remote control this unit also sounds good with a very refined performance that's also decent with music the fact it will also do multi room music via the play file system is also a plus especially if you already have other compatible components and yet there's a couple of things that give me pause about recommending it firstly that aluminium is sharp and I scratched my arm leaning over it plug cables in I wouldn't trust young kids around it secondly the Denon heõs home cinema sounds very similar as similar features and it costs at least $100 less and it doesn't have pointy edges the definitive technology W studio micro is lovely but it's not the superstar that the larger studio W years
