consider the bezel that humble landing
strip of material that sits between your
device's screen and its outer edge
laptops have them desktops have them
televisions have them at least there
they're getting thinner dell has with
its XPS 15 and before that the XPS 13
really some of the only laptops that
we've seen with very thin very tiny
bezels this newer 15-inch version is
even more impressive because it's got a
larger screen real estate to outer edge
surface ratio now this upgraded model
looks especially cool because it's got a
4k display
you still can't get 4k content from some
of my favorite sources like Netflix and
Amazon on a PC right now but there's
plenty of 4k video out there and the
screen just looks fantastic and even
though this is a fairly unassuming slim
lightweight 15-inch midsize laptop it's
actually got an Nvidia 960m graphics
card inside another add-on that will
cost you extra to get but it's perfectly
fine for casual / mainstream gaming
pretty much performs as well as any of
the other sort of mainstream specialized
gaming systems that we see in the last
year or two although it does not have
the hey I'm a gaming laptop look which
is always appreciated the expense 15
starts at a very reasonable $9.99 but if
you add in all the extras that I like
like a core i7 CPU that 4k screen with
touch and the gaming graphics plus a
larger solid-state hard drive you get up
to $2,000 and beyond
