hello everybody its Linh la from CNN and
right now we're going to check out the
Kyocera hydro elite from Verizon
Wireless now the elite is kissers first
Android smartphone on Verizon and from
what we can tell it's one of the best
hydro handsets we've seen from the whole
family for instance it packs an 8

megapixel camera that we commonly see in
hydrophones it also has a 1.3 megapixel
front-facing camera for vanity shots in
addition it has a slimmer more modern
design and it's equipped with a 4.3 inch
HD display that has a 1280 by 720 pixel
resolution now just like other hydros
the handset is not only splash proof but
it's waterproof too so it could be fully
immersed in up to a meter of water for
up to 30 minutes it runs Android 4.1
jelly bean and comes with some Kyocera
software features including magna fun
which increases text size and eco mode
an app that helps you conserve battery
life powering the 4G LTE handset is a
2.1 ampere hour battery that has a
reported talktime of up to 13 hours and
a 1.5 gigahertz dual-core Snapdragon
processor additional features include
expandable memory up to 32 gigs 16 gigs
of internal memory NFC and wireless
charging if you're interested the device
is currently going for about $50 after
new users signed a carrier agreement
