hey everyone I'm Jessica's all-court for
CNN here at MWC 15 in Barcelona and we
are gonna take a little bit of a deep
dive into how to use the contact
features on the Samsung Galaxy s6 edge
now this strip of screen on either the
right or the left side contains a sort
of a speed dial where you can place five
of your favorite contacts they're
color-coded and you'll see why in a
minute
unlike the Galaxy Note edge this screen
is not always on when you want to pull
it up there's a little tab that you've
got to slide it over it's really easy to
miss there's this little mini settings
menu that lets you control a little bit
about what it's called the People edge
including picking your contacts you can
tap on a contact to either call them or
send a text message if you miss an alert
you'll see a different tab that
corresponds to the color of your friend
there are also more settings that you
can get to from the main settings menu
and then by clicking edge screen here
you can set up edge lighting do more
with people's set up notifications along
the side turn on or off the night clock
and set your hours there's good news for
lefties too because you can now change
the screen position to the left in
addition to getting notifications from
your contacts on the right screen you
can also manage your feets to get
notifications from your other apps like
Facebook Facebook Messenger Skype in the
weather just like the Galaxy Note edge
if your phone is off you can rub the
side that has the toolbar display to get
a little bit more information like the
date and time that concludes this tour
of the Samsung Galaxy s6 and s6 edges
camera features so much more information
on these two phones go to cnn.com
