when somebody asks me which laptop to
buy I have an easy answer dude you're
getting a Dell 13 and 15 inch dell
inspiron 7000 2 and ones are two of the
best laptops you can buy for under 800
US dollars they feel durable speeding
and they come standard with fast
solid-state drives and excellent 1080p
displays but when you go to buy one you
might notice a third version one with a
giant 17 inch screen this is the Dell
Inspiron 17 7000 2 and 1 and it's the
first 17 inch laptop that does this plus
it's got a discreet Nvidia graphics chip
that you won't find in Dells thinner pcs
it means you can play overwatch on this
laptop as long as you turn down the
settings but honestly I wouldn't buy it
first off you should know that this
laptop weighs over 6 pounds unless
you're planning to prop it up on a knee
the tablet mode isn't terribly useful
and while it plays over watch the nvidia
geforce 940 MX graphics chip can
struggle with more demanding games
battery life is actually worse I saw a
pretty crappy three hours of real-world
use compared to 4 to 5 hours for Dell 13
and 15 inches and when you want to
charge it you can't simply carry around
an awesome USB C battery like you can
with Dells smaller laptops the Nvidia
chip means you'll need to carry around
this power brick instead but the biggest
reason I'd steer clear is this Dell
makes you pack this 17 inch or starts at
$900 and you'll pay 1150 to get a speedy
solid-state drive instead of a slow
magnetic platter the Inspiron 17 7000 2
and 1 is still a pretty good computer
but it's not nearly as good a deal
it's the black sheep of this laptop
family
