the Apple watch of the future could
alert you if you should see a doctor at
least that's the plan for the evolution
of apples health kit app according to a
report from Bloomberg health kit
collects health and fitness data from
different devices including the Apple
watch and owners can see a chart of the
data collected over time but sources
tell Bloomberg that Apple wants health
get to be able to eventually interpret
all the data it collects and give health
advice to the owner or their doctor the
report says Apple has been hiring scores
of healthcare experts for this mission
and apples also working on more health
focused watch apps including one to
track sleep and another that measures
the time it takes for the heart rate to
fall from its peak to rest adding fuel
to the report is the fact that Apple
purchased a startup company that created
software for pulling health records from
different databases and formats and then
compiling them into one place perhaps
it's apples way of looking at health
care data the same way it looked at the
music business years ago having all your
music on iTunes made it hard to leave
the ipod having all your medical history
in one app makes it hard to switch from
apple watch and iphone I'm Bridget Carey
