hey there i'm josh goldman senior editor
with CNET and this is a look at the
fujifilm finepix HS 30 EXR now what
makes the HS 30 XR stand out in a
crowded mega zoom market is its design
and controls well it has a good auto
mode it's really a better match for
someone who is looking for more digital
SLR like controls with direct access to
ISO exposure AF and white balance and
manual and semi manual shooting modes
and raw image capture you also get some
handy burst shooting and bracketing
options a very nice EVF and tilting LCD
a hot shoe on top for a flash and the
lens is threaded for 58 millimeter
filters however all of these things
don't mean it's a replacement for an SLR
picture quality and shooting performance
are very good for its class but like
similar models they're not SLR level
still if you're after a lot of direct
controls in a 30x zoom lens this is one
of the better options available
I'm Josh Goldman and that's the Fujifilm
HS 30 EXR
