hi i'm megan fullerton christina and this is a first take of the GE Profile double convection wall oven PT 9 5 5 0 SF SS this oven sells for three thousand six hundred and ninety nine dollars and it features two five cubic foot capacity ovens a great feature about this oven is that it has both traditional and convection heating options this convection is a little bit unique though it uses true European convection with direct air direct air is actually a fan from the top of each oven that covers the food and cooks it more evenly and efficiently another thing we love is the racks that screw in to either side of both ovens the racks just screw in and they have six different heights so you can adjust it accordingly and another thing we love is that the bottom heat element is hidden so that you can clean it easily now we haven't tested this yet but this oven also comes with a steam clean feature that heats at a lower temperature and targets smaller spills another cool feature of this oven is this red LED panel you see here when it's pulsing it means the oven is preheating now it only works for the top oven but it's still kind of cool and when you're cooking your food the LED acts as a status bar letting you know how much time is left on your cooking and when the bar is fully lit it means that your food is done ge offers select appliances that connect to the GE brilliant app on your iPhone or Android this oven happens to be compatible with that the setup is really easy and this app actually acts as a remote control so you can be sitting on your couch researching a recipe and you can preheat your oven while you're sitting down now this oven model comes in either stainless steel or black but it's a pretty standard looking oven the real standout feature is gonna be that red LED light and if you don't like that you can turn it off in the settings this has been a first take of the GE Profile double convection oven but stay tuned we'll have a full review for you soon for cnet.com I'm Megan bulletin thanks for watching
