hey this is eric franklin from cnet and
i'm standing here with samsung galaxy
tab 2 7.0 this is a follow-up to
Samsung's Galaxy Tab the original which
had a 7-inch screen but it's also
there's a striking resemblance to the
Samsung Galaxy Tab 70 plus it has a ir
sensor like the plus had that turns your
tablet into the kind of a smart remote
using the peel software there's a power
button volume rocker let's see if
there's a headphone jack here a
microphone pinhole there's also
expandable memory you can add up to 32
gigs of memory through the micro SD card
slot dual speakers on the bottom there's
also the dock connector here as well
main looks and feels a lot like the
seven-point plus it's probably a little
bit thicker and maybe like the same
weight also the front camera has been
downgraded from 2 megapixel to vga from
the seminole plus and the back camera
remains a 3 megapixel camera however it
loses the LED supported light more
comparisons of some oil plus the
processor has been downgraded from 1.2
gigahertz dual-core to 1 gigahertz
dual-core there however the POS screen
Powell technology remains which gives it
great viewing angles and also really
great and deep colors and rich colors
unlike any Samsung tablet before it this
one runs ice cream sandwich android 4.0
point three i b'lieve to be exact and
also includes Samsung's TouchWiz
interface the samsung galaxy tab 2 7
point 0 will launch on april twenty
second at the very competitive price of
two hundred and fifty dollars
for a full review around that time once
again i'm eric franklin this is going to
first look at the samsung galaxy tab 2 7
points
