hi there I'm Josh Feldman senior editor
with CNET and this is a look at the
Samsung wb800f I enabled
point-and-shoots from Samsung for 2012
and why would you want Wi-Fi in your
camera well at least for Samsung's
models it gives you the capability to
email photos straight from the camera
back them up to a Windows PC or
Microsoft SkyDrive view them wirelessly
on DLNA equipped devices or with
Samsung's mobile apps you can view and
share them on Samsung Galaxy devices or
even turn one into a remote viewfinder
if none of that sounds good then you
might as well stop watching now the
camera without the wireless features is
pretty much a run-of-the-mill compact
magazine you get an ultra wide-angle 18x
zoom lens a nice 3-inch LCD and a camera
full of creative shooting and editing
options but it's photos and video
quality aren't much better than a smart
phone camera and it's shooting
performance isn't great either but if
you're satisfied with your phone's image
quality and just really want a long
optical zoom and more control over your
results without breaking the bank the W
150 F is worth considering I'm Josh
Goldman and that's the Samsung wb800f
