hey I'm Josh Goldman senior editor with
CNET and this is a look at the sony
cybershot DSC TX 20 and this may look
like a typical ultra compact camera in
fact here it is next to its line mate
the TX 66 and you can see they're
essentially the same size and shape but
thanks to the TX 20s airtight
construction it's waterproof to depth of
16 feet shockproof to about 5 feet and
dustproof the thing is since it's so
small the camera can be tough to hold
with wet or cold hands and although I
like that it has a slide down and cover
protecting the lens it can easily get
sand trapped behind it and potentially
scratch up the body if you're not
careful also its lens is in particularly
sharp especially off to the sides and
photos in general looks soft except at
small sizes otherwise it's a good camera
with lots of features to play with both
on land and in water so if you're
looking for a camera you can take
anywhere it's a decent choice I'm Josh
Goldman and that's the sony cybershot TX
20
