hey there i'm josh golden with seen it
and this is a look at the pentax optio
WG too it's the camera makers 13th
generation rugged cameras each one
seemingly tougher than the last for the
WG to it's waterproof 240 feet
shockproof to about 5 feet cold proof to
14 degrees fahrenheit and crush proof to
220 pounds of pressure the body is made
from reinforced polycarbonate plastic
and while its design isn't for everyone
all these ridges do make it easier to
grip with cold or wet hands plus it's
really lightweight compared to the full
metal bodies of other rugged cameras and
pentax also includes this carabiner
strap to make it easy to attach to
yourself another nice feature is this
ring of six leds that can be used to
brighten up close up shots or just as a
flashlight the only real feature
disappointment is the lack of optical or
mechanical image stabilization instead
pentax includes a decent digital option
called pixel track SR but it takes a
couple seconds to process the images so
it's not great if you're trying to shoot
fast on the other hand the camera isn't
terribly fast to begin with it also you
probably won't want this if you need to
do a lot of action shooting photo
quality is decent though don't expect it
to make poster size prints but for
smaller prints and web use the results
are good in and out of water i'm josh
golden and that's the pentax optio WD to
