i'm dan ackerman and we recently got to
take a look at the new lenovo thinkpad
x1 carbon ultrabook now that x1 name
sounds familiar that's because Lenovo
had an x1 last year meant to be a
MacBook Air competitor it was a bit too
thick for that this new version is much
slimmer lenovo says it's the world's
lightest 14-inch ultrabook add 3 pounds
and the new design wall lot nicer
doesn't really break any new ground it
does have a backlit keyboard which we
appreciate it's also got a built-in 3g
modem something a lot of ultrabooks lack
you also get the very latest 3rd
generation intel core i series CPUs
otherwise known as Ivy Bridge and a
higher screen resolution than usual 1600
x 900 but that means this is going to be
a premium priced ultrabook we expected
sometime this summer for more than a
thousand dollars that's the Lenovo
ThinkPad x1 carbon
