hi this is Brian Bennett at cnet.com and
we are at CTIA Wireless 2012 and you may
be wondering what's in my hands here it
looks like a can looks like a coffee
maker still don't know what it is well
actually it is the home fusion by the
horizon and basically this device this
is the antenna portion which will
connect to Verizon's 4G LTE network you
basically put it on your roof of your
house and it will provide you with a
fast high-speed internet connection
that's wireless and you'd actually
connect this router or modem device in
your living room or your your den or
whatever and be able to share up to you
know 20 devices share the internet
connection with it wirelessly over Wi-Fi
the device itself costs $1.99 or $200
basically and different prices for the
coverage and plans vary it costs $90 for
a 10 gigabyte allotment and moving on up
you know all the way up to like 20 or
even 30 all miles an interesting
solution if you live outside of a region
that does not have cable or you know
even Verizon's FiOS service but if you
have a 4G LTE connection it might be
able to give you some broadband where
you wouldn't otherwise have access to it
I'm Brian Bennett for cnet.com
