I'm Andrew Foyle cnet band i'm here in
abu dhabi we're not get his taken felids
off a bunch of new Lumia devices running
Windows Phone 8 now receive a new
devices already but let's take a closer
look at some of our favorite features of
the new windows phone 8 software so the
most obvious update to Windows Phone 8
is the home screen as you can see we've
now got three tiles in rows allowing for
much more information to be on screen at
once now that works really well on this
six-inch Lumia 1520 it's bigger screen
just allows for so much more information
to be displayed but it probably isn't
going to work quite so well on smaller
linnaeus press and hold the back button
and you'll bring up the multitasking
interface it looks much the same as it
did before but crucially you can now
kill apps and Carrie are heading to the
settings menu and you'll see that
they've added the ability to lock the
screen rotation also in the settings you
will find driving mode now this allows
you to block incoming called and text so
you can focus on the road best of all in
Windows Phone 8 though is a support for
quad core processors as well as full HD
screens both of which you'll find on
this Lumia 1520 and you'll no doubt see
it on plenty more Lumia devices to come
so those are the latest features of
Windows Phone 8 for all about for new
Nokia launchers make sure to keep it
seen it I'm Andrew Foyle and this is
Windows Phone 8
you
