hey I'm Scott Stein and here at CES 2012 one of the coolest laptops that we've seen by far is the HP envy 14 spectre this is a glass-covered 14-inch ultrabook that's made by HP part of the envy line but it doesn't have dedicated graphics it's more of an ultrabook which means that it's got SSD storage and some pretty sleek looks it's covered in gorilla glass on the front and back that palm rest is Gorilla Glass and so was the trackpad and it's got touches that you've seen in the envy line including the envy 15 a nice radiance backlit keyboard a super bright radiance display that's viewable from a variety of angles and some people might be afraid of having glass covering it but it certainly gives it a very distinctive look although the laptop is a bit heavier and thicker than other ultrabooks that's because this is a 14 incher and has slightly different size specs some of the touches you'll also recognize include an analog wheel for HP beats audio which comes included it's a bit expensive at 1399 when it comes out februari a you can overdo it that's a look at one of the more interesting laptops of CES 2012 i'm scott stein let's look at the HP envy 14 spectre
