the new Apple TV has finally arrived these five tips will help you master it to jump between apps quickly double press the TV button on the remote to activate multitasking mode this will display thumbnails of your recent apps to close out of a recently used app swipe up on the remote just like you would on an iOS device want to customize the layout to your liking with an apps icon highlighted press and hold the trackpad on the remote into the icon begins wiggling then swipe across the trackpad to move the app icon when you're happy with its new location click the trackpad once to finalize the move to delete an app simply press the play / pause button on the remote when the app is shaking and confirm you wanted to lead it on the following screen using the Apple TV remote to play games is possible but you can also use a compatible Bluetooth controller head to settings select remotes and devices followed by Bluetooth then hold the pairing button on your controller and once the Apple TV finds the controller scroll down and select it do you have multiple Apple TV's on the same wireless network renaming each one will make it easier to identify the one you're looking for launch the Settings app scroll down and click on airplay followed by Apple TV name from here you can choose a name from the list or scroll to the bottom to create a custom one if the device is completely unresponsive you can use the Apple TV remote to force a reboot simply press and hold the menu and TV buttons after holding both for roughly 10 seconds the white light on the Apple TV box will begin flashing once that happens let go of both buttons and the Apple TV will begin rebooting for more tips and tricks like this one be sure to check out how to dot cnet.com thanks for watching
