if it's seen that we gave awards based on looks alone the fluid Signature Series would definitely be on the shortlist these hulking four foot tall beasts meant to look very sophisticated despite their massive size but scratched under the glassy surface and you'll find that these speakers can only do one thing well given the huge 8 inch woofers on this thing you could probably guess what this is home theater give them a movie soundtrack and the plug really deep in the bass you don't even need a subwoofer and they'll also provide ultra clear dialogue however they are $800 a pair and at this sort of price you want to make sure you're getting value for money which to me means they should be all-rounders or that they should also play music but sadly these ones come despite those massive woofers music is very mid-range heavy and can be quite braiding with styles like rock and roll bass response also drops off completely except for the really low bits this one-sidedness is a shame because they look great and on paper they have plenty of potential but for the money you might want to look into speakers from say clips or a lake instead the finish on those rivals won't be as nice but they'll sound a whole lot better
