in the CNET appliances test kitchen we've seen a lot of GE ranges that perform well for a reasonable price well we've seen the same thing here with this GE gas range this range is equipped with a gas cooktop in a gas oven that performed well even though it didn't set the world on fire in my cook test one feature that I really liked about this oven is the reversible griddle on the cooktop one side has elevated ridges so that you can cook things like you need hot dogs and such on the other side it's flat which is great for grilled cheese and pancakes I really like the versatility that this griddle gives the cooktop I also liked the ease of use with this oven you can roll it into your kitchen and use it right away now as I mentioned before the cook times weren't excellent and some of the cook tasks like with our roasted chicken we're just okay but overall this $1200 oven is a pretty good investment for your key
