every camera feature from the galaxy s7 is already in Samsung's new note 7 phone but this stylus slinger takes the camera controls further by adding support for gestures now you can swipe right to bring up filters and swipe left for other menu items to move between front and rear cameras just swipe up or down the menu grid makes it easy to see the effect in real time so you can quickly choose the filter that looks best without any second guessing the note sevens 12 megapixel camera to clean crisp photos in my test shots and you still get that optional screen flash for selfies there are a lot of slider controls for pinpointing the intensity of those filters too but there is a trick to swiping and if you don't do it just so you're not going to get the menu you want which can be really frustrating when I held the phone in landscape I sometimes accidentally tapped the back and recent buttons which kicked me out of the app so then I had to start over again moral of the story the new gestures are good overall but watch where you rest those fingers
