Galaxy Note 8? Yes, Samsung is planning on it (CNET Update)

Samsung is not killing the Galaxy Note
phone Brandi yet believe it or not we
may actually see a Galaxy Note 8 next
year how do we know because Samsung
issued a statement offering South Korean
customers the opportunity to trade up to
a note 8 next year if they turn in their
potentially dangerous note 7 now for a
galaxy s7 the offer was reported by
Reuters Samsung has not announced any
sort of trade and offer for customers of
other countries but this announcement
shows that Samsung may not completely
abandoned the Note brand even after the
epically embarrassing disaster of
needing to recall the note 7 phone twice
and halt production because it was prone
to catching fire
so what Samsung's motto gonna be buy a
Galaxy Note 8 this time it won't blow up
but if Samsung expects the Note line to
continue to be successful it needs to be
transparent and what went wrong and
Samsung needs to reassure customers that
future phones won't also spontaneously
combust the problem is Samsung still
doesn't even know what was causing the
batteries to overheat the Wall Street
Journal is reporting that Samsung is
still trying to figure out what went
wrong with the phones and it's causing
the company to delay work on its
upcoming Galaxy s8 flagship phone by two
weeks that's it for this tech news
