hey I'm seeing that's right Crist
automated lighting can bring a lot of
convenience into your home but you might
need to troubleshoot what things go
wrong an easy option for this is to
manually reset the bulbs now different
manufacturers have different ways of
doing this but in general you're going
to be cycling the bulbs on and off and
on and off until they flash indicating
that the bulb has been reset here's how
to do that with the Cree connected LED
you're going to have it on and then turn
it off for two seconds and on for two
seconds about four times it might take a
couple extra times or a couple of
attempts to get the timing just right
once you do it right the light will
flash and you're going to have a reset
bulb back to factory settings you can
start from scratch with now like I said
different manufacturers have different
timings to get this just right so it
depend on the bulb you're using if
you're using a wiimote LED for instance
you're going to turn it off for one
second and then on for about three
seconds and do that 3 or 4 times to see
if that works
the GE link LED here you're going to
turn off for 5 seconds on for 5 seconds
repeat that 5 times and the bulb should
reset now not every smart light has a
manual reset option available the
Philips hue lights for instance can't be
reset using a trick like this and they
also can't be deleted from the app which
is kind of strange instead you'll need
to get your Philips hue bridge out and
push the restore factory settings button
here on the back that's going to erase
all of your lights and all of your
scenes kind of a pain but you'll be able
to riad everything and set it back up
and get it working again for more smart
