i untie pedal breed from cnet.com and
this is a review of the grado
sr ati headphones if you're looking for
a pair of headphones for listening at
home it's very easy to pay hundreds of
dollars for a good pair but what if
you're on a limited budget if that's the
case then the Grado SR ad eyes for about
100 bucks are about the best bang for
buck you can get despite the name the I
in 80 i stands for improved rather than
iphone and the improvements run to new
drivers and a couple of design tweaks
including better hinges and a different
ear pad the headphones do sound
different to the originals with a
slightly warmer tone and better bass for
the extra $20 investment over the
starter sr 60s though it's a revelation
with better detail and more sparkle in
the treble these are true audiophile
headphones without the horrendous price
tag on the downside they're a little bit
ugly and look like something a b-52
bomber might use and their open nature
means they not only leak sound but
they're terrible on noisy public
transport
apart from that though these are
excellent headphones and I would
heartily recommend them to anyone
looking for a set of headphones at the
price this has been ty Pendlebury from
