hey I'm Scott tonight at C net here at
Google i/o and I am wearing a VR headset
that uses a tablet project tango which
is a 3d depth sensing tablet technology
that we had heard about earlier is now
compatible with dive which is a 3d
printed accessory that fits over it and
turns into a VR headset you don't need a
camera to track I'm looking at it an
underwater environment with sharks
coming at me and I can move around it
can sense step it can even put the
aquatic environment in the room full of
people that I'm looking at and this is a
separate additional accessory that shows
how this type of 3d depth sensing could
totally mobilize virtual reality it's
here at Google i/o one of the bleeding
edge technologies that you can see here
on the show floor I'm Scott Stein and
there's a shark coming after me
