Explorer demonstrating TeleNav scalp
it's basically a daily personal
navigator the first portion of this sort
of three-pronged assault is an
application that runs on an iPhone
basically here you can search for
destinations discover new places you can
get traffic for home or work and you can
also do termite erm navigation right
here on the phone the second part of
this is actually a scout any website
that you access on a computer all of the
things that you would be able to do here
on the app you can also do on the
computer with a bigger screen and a
keyboard now when you get in your car it
becomes scalp for cars now basically
what that is is you connect to the
vehicles dashboard and you get a custom
interface that's actually designed to be
easier to use in the vehicle big buttons
and large text that's easy to see on
your home screen here you've got your
traffic times for home or for work you
can navigate with turn-by-turn
directions right here using TeleNav
great maps and navigation software and
also any of those destinations that you
stored or saved as favorites on the app
or at home you can access right here as
well as searching the web since this is
connected on a smartphone scouts
actually been announced as a partner for
Ford SYNC AppLink they're going to be
the navigation app of choice for that
sort of software integration that Ford's
doing right there and also Sony is going
to be taking advantage of this software
on their next generation of application
enabled car stereos so this has been
