hi I'm Bridget Carey with CNET here at CES 2012 in front of DISH Network's brand new kangaroo themed system the hopper it's a multi room DVR digital video recorder that has three tuners in it but can record six channels at once it can record all four of the major networks during primetime as well as two other channels they call it prime time anytime primetime anytime can record all the four networks for 8 days straight during primetime hours as 2 terabytes of memory that's how we can do that now it also has Sirius Radio 74 channels to choose from the lock buster at home this is their $10 a month extra service it has 10,000 extra streaming titles on it now the hopper is also compatible with a Slingbox device so sold separately you can take what you're recording and even watch live TV on another device like a laptop or smart device and we want to take what you're recording on the hopper you're going to need some Joey's Joey's hey connect up to three other rooms in your home to the DVR system there's no word on the pricing up at the whole system will be coming out in the first quarter of the year Christina I'm Bridget Carey at CES 2012 with your first look I DISH Network's hopper system you
