today I'm taking a first look at the
Hisense Chromebook high senses new 11
inch Chromebook is a compact lightweight
laptop that costs only 149 dollars it's
part of a lineup of 10 new low-cost
laptops from Hisense a suits and hair
designed with students and classrooms in
mind
hi sons his Chromebook has an all-black
design with a textured woven finish on
the top cover it's mostly made of
plastic but there's a metal trackpad in
palm rest the full-size keyboard feels
spacious and is easy to type on with the
keys feel mushy because of its plastic
design the laptop is light weighting
just three point three pounds the
Hisense Chromebook has an 11.6 inch
display that looks bright though a
little fuzzy it has two USB ports one on
each side an HDMI port and a micro SD
card slot for expandable storage there's
also a proprietary charging port inside
has a Rockchip 3288 processor 2
gigabytes of RAM and 16 gigabytes of
storage there's also an arm Mali 760
quad-core graphics chip
other features include stereo speakers
and a 720p camera for video chatting the
laptop promises up to 8 and a half hours
of battery life on a single charge
this Chromebook is running the latest
version of Google's Chrome OS which
relies heavily on a Wi-Fi connection and
is designed for surfing the web Chrome
OS is getting better about letting you
do things offline but you'll still need
an internet connection for most tasks
it's $149 price tag makes the Hisense
Chromebook appealing even with its low
end specs if you're in the market for a
