Google's Android wear for smartwatches
is getting an update in the fall and
there are a number of new features a few
of which are on display here at Google
i/o one of which is the ability to get
more information right on your watch
face kind of like complications on the
Apple watch if you tap this you can
launch life some and you go right into
logging how much water you've drunk
which for me is not enough there are a
couple of new ways of responding to
messages on Android wear two different
types of keyboards one is a smarter
swipe keyboard that works like this so
pretty easy to use and the other one is
handwriting recognition so now you can
finger draw write on Android wear and do
something like this I have terrible
handwriting but it still understands me
this is pretty cool that more is coming
when Android wear 2.0 hits in the fall
on a number of new Android wear watches
