hey guys Jason Cipriani here is Cena how
to contributor and today we're gonna
take a look at how to disable explicit
language when you're using Siri or
dictation that goes through Siri
now this works on both the iPhone 4s as
well as the iPad the the labels may look
a little different on the iPhone than
they do on the iPad that I'm showing you
on but it's the same process for each
device disabling explicit language will
prevent any surprise results while
you're dictating or giving a command to
Siri on the iPhone for your child or
even for yourself if you're not a fan of
those words so what we're gonna do is
we're gonna go into settings and you'll
go to general then you'll go to
restrictions and if you don't already
have restrictions enabled go ahead and
enable them now it's going to ask you to
set up a passcode and then down here
you'll see dictation zhan but underneath
that you'll see explicit language so to
turn off explicit language all you do is
toggle the switch and back out of
restrictions it's as easy as that going
forward explicit language will not be
even considered while using dictation or
Siri and it'll prevent any surprise
words showing up in your text messages
