hey guys Jason Cipriani here a Cena how to contributor and today we're going to take a look at how to enable group messaging on Windows Phone 7.5 what this will do is allow you to send group conversations as you normally would send text messages but instead it's going to keep it all in one thread instead of having separate conversations per contact so what we'll do to enable it as we'll go into our menu we'll scroll down to settings scroll over to applications and then tap on messaging by default group messaging is turned off we're going to go ahead and toggle it on and as you can see here it helps keep replies in one thread by using MMS so keep that in mind if you're using this or you have this enabled and your plan allows for a lot of text messages or SMS messages but it doesn't allow for a lot of MMS you're going to want to leave this off but if you're on an unlimited plan have at it so once we have that turned on we'll go back here to messaging and I have a group conversation started here and as you can see there's a couple recipients and the replies are kept within the thread or as when it was turned off the replies were kept out of the thread once again this is how to enable group messaging on Windows Phone 7.5 I'm Jason Cipriani was seen at how to make sure to visit us at how to cnet.com
