hey guys Jason Cipriani here they seen it how to a contributor and today we're going to cover how to use punctuation while using Siri on the iPhone 4s Siri is a great assistant that allows you to compose text messages and do a whole bunch of other stuff but one thing it doesn't know how to do is include punctuation in a text message or email that you're sending out here's how you do it all right so we're going to send a text message with some punctuation since the normal way when you compose a message using Siri there's no punctuation included in any of the text that she writes for you text my mom hi comma how are you question mark did you see the game last night exclamation point question mark yes okay I'll send your message so as you can see when you verbally place the punctuation in the message or the sentence that you're having Siri right out for you it does a pretty good job you just need to make sure you talk slowly you pronounce e8 what exactly you're wanting to get across and you can add punctuation and look like you have a bit of grammar skills while still using your voice so in that short text message that I sent to my mom not only included a couple examples of punctuation when in reality you can use pretty much any type of punctuation that you would normally use while typing out a message just make sure to pronounce the character correctly and slowly given Syria a chance to use it and to learn it that's all we have for today for more great tech tips make sure to visit us at how to see Netcom
