if you have an iPhone 4s and you've ever
had Siri randomly start talking or
beeping at you from your pocket or
perhaps your person wondered why we're
going to cover exactly how to take care
of that problem
today I'm Jayson Cipriani with scene at
Hal two and today we're going to cover
how to turn off race to speak for Siri
so what we'll do is we'll go into
settings we'll go down to general then
we'll go to Siri and down at the bottom
here there's a toggle switch for a race
to speak well go in and turn that off
what that does is it eliminates a
proximity sensor from trying to detect
whether or not you've raised the phone
to your ear in activating Siri now I'm
going forward to activate Siri all you
do is hold in the home button like you
normally would and Syria will open up
you no longer will you have to raise the
phone to your head or hear Siri randomly
beeping at you in your pocket or your
purse
