hey everyone this is Edie how to contributor for CNET today we're going to show you how to use Spotify and offline mode which is useful for using Spotify in areas without an internet connection or if you're just trying to save on data because you have a tiered data plan so let's get started go ahead and launch Spotify and in the playlist tab you'll see a button at the top that says edit offline playlists go ahead and touch that and you'll see a list of folders including your playlists go ahead and check the box next to the playlist that you want to have downloaded and you'll see a status bar downloading your tracks onto your phone once that finishes you'll want to click on the button at the top that says done as soon as it's done downloading there and next to the playlist you'll see a green icon now that says it has your tracks cached on your phone now now if you want to for Spotify to play your tracks in offline mode only click the more tab and check the box next to offline mode go back to your playlists click on your playlist and click on a track and that's it you're all done for more tips and tricks go check out how to see Netcom
