it's yet to be determined if quad core phones are as fast as everyone says they are but Huawei's think that this phone is the fastest of the ball I'm Jessica doll court for CNN here at Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona and this is the huawei ascend d quad and this phone has everything you would expect at a premium smartphone it's got this beautiful 4.5 inch display totally in HD it's running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich so that is the latest version of the Android operating system and it's pretty plain vanilla Android also has an 8 megapixel camera on the back that does 1080p HD recording and playback about a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front and it does have that quad core processor by Huawei so not sure about pricing or availability yet but this is one phone I definitely hope to see coming to the US where Huawei's is not yet have a household name I'm dosages all court for CNN you can check out all of our phone coverage for mobile world congress at cnet com
