everyone loves a hologram and this is
grabbing a lot of attention at CES 2018
it's from a company called Kino mo and
it's called the hyper vision wall it's
made up of multiple modular units they
kind of look like propellers which is
apt given how they work each of the arms
on the module have programmable LEDs and
the unit's processor sends signals to
each of those LEDs and tells them where
it needs to turn on so the whole device
spins and your eye perceives this light
as a hologram when you put a bunch of
these units together you can make
holographic like images up to 3 meters
in size now each of these units is
expensive they cost $3,200 so it's
definitely something designed for retail
sports venues and commercial displays it
doesn't take up much power either with
each unit using around 65 watts I have
to say it looks a lot more impressive to
the human eye when you watch it in
person compared to seeing it on a screen
captured by a camera but hopefully it
gives you some idea of what is Wow in
the crowds at CES this year
