update lots of news this week with the
IFA electronics trade show in berlin
sony announced its first 4k TV and at 84
inches it is ginormous sony hasn't said
how much it will cost or when it will be
available but you'll likely have to fork
over thirty thousand dollars to get it
and for those of you asking what is a 4k
TV well the term means it is the
equivalent of four 1080p screens in
height and length right now there's no
real point in getting a 4k TV after all
the movies do you own in 4k but it sure
sounds cool sony also showed some
interesting tablets the Xperia S tablet
which is coming out September 7th
starting at four hundred dollars it has
several TV ready features android 4.0
sony also showed the convertible vaio
duo 11 a Windows 8 tablet that's also a
laptop when the keyboard slides out and
Sony's flagship phone the Xperia T has a
four point six inch screen and
13-megapixel camera others in the phone
family are experienced V and Jay you see
they got this letter branding thing
going on and in the camera category
there's a Sony action cam which will
ship in September for two hundred
dollars its tiny size is designed for
point of view action shots competing
with the GoPro everyone's favorite
phablet has a big brother the samsung
galaxy note 2 releasing in October it
will be even bigger than the original
note with a 5.5 inch screen samsung also
showed off the world's first Windows 8
Phone the 80s but the more unique
product of the day is the Samsung Galaxy
camera an android-powered 16 megapixel
sensor camera with apps and wireless 3g
and 4g network connectivity and a zoom
